Parambil Now Reads Medical Imaging Directly
-9.png)
If a client has had a CT scan, MRI, X-ray, or ultrasound, the images probably exist as DICOM files, the standard for medical imaging.
Parambil now lets you upload and work with these files directly, exactly as you receive them from the medical provider.
Now, you can:
- Organize them in the Vault with the rest of your case files.
- Ask AI about them—what do they show, and what might matter for the case?
- View the images yourself.
- Bates stamp individual images.
Lowering the barrier to entry
Until now, making use of imaging meant learning specialized viewing software, or paying an expert by the hour. So it tended to happen only in the cases "big" enough to justify the cost.
In non-catastrophic or low coverage injury cases—truck accident, car accident, slip and fall, those kinds of things—it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to spend $10,000 to have a consulting expert review imaging, which means you're stuck with the radiologist's report.
We know the error rate (missed diagnoses) is approximately 30%…having a cost-effective means to double check the findings is a game-changer.

Our view is that imaging is evidence like any other, and that there has been an unnecessarily high barrier to taking advantage of it. Parambil lowers that barrier:
- Keep DICOM files in your Vault, with the rest of your case files.
- View the images in a simple interface that you don't have to learn.
- Use Ask AI to orient, explore, and summarize, all in plain language.
Ask AI does not replace human medical experts, but it can help you decide when you need one, and what to ask them.
How this can help you
Pre-screen
Take a first pass with Ask AI and shortlist the few images worth a closer look. Spend expert hours only where they're needed.
Cross-check
Radiology reports aren't always complete. Ask AI can read the images alongside the written report and point out anything worth asking your medical expert about.
Example prompt:
Compare the DICOM images to the written report. Is there anything that the written report omitted?
Find exhibits
Out of thousands of images, find the few that show the injury plainly, check them in the viewer, and Bates stamp them for trial.
Showing the jury the injury so they can see it is really, really important.
They can suddenly see what a radiologist sees [...]. And if a jury can see it, they believe it better than if they're just taking somebody's word for it.

Conclusion
Anybody in my area should be into [reading imaging]. And if they're not, then they should be paying thousands of dollars to have doctors do [it] for them.
